"To cure, to heal, to bring on a good time," says Saffire’s Gaye Adegbola of BluesWorks. Famous for their well-seasoned
acoustic/electric style of blues, BluesWorks was formed by Paul Watson and Judy-Luis Watson in 1991. The Trio immediately
earned a reputation for their skilled musicianship, excellent songwriting and knowledge of the Blues. Harmonica virtuoso,
Paul Watson, is highly esteemed among blues critics for his blues harp, vocal style and skilled songwriting. Judy-Luis
Watson is famous for her signature-style boogie piano which she learned to play as a youngster in Tanzania, East Africa. The
Trio is rounded out by guest guitarist Ralph Fortune. Recent winners of the prestigious Washington Area Musician’s
Award, BluesWorks is currently celebrating the success of their most recent CD, Far From Home. BluesWorks tours extensively playing
major festivals, clubs & cabarets, college campuses and coffeehouses throughout the United States and Canada.

"The BluesWorks performance at MECC was a true crowd pleaser. Paul & Judy are our favorite performers. They are friendly
and incredibly talented. BluesWorks lights up the room and warms up the audience from beginning to end. We just can’t get
enough of BluesWorks! Their kindness and consideration is something our young people will never forget. Bravo!"
